Happy Holidays everyone! It has been a busy month of December and weddings are starting to book quickly for 2008. I got out recently to do an engagement session with a super nice couple, Kelli and Rusty. It was a very relaxed photo shoot with their dogs, and we all had a great time. They were very easy to work with and I am looking forward to shooting their wedding later in the year. Sunset Cliffs is a beautiful spot here in San Diego, and it’s always easy to find an uncrowded piece of the beach. As you can see from the photos below, the backdrop is quite dramatic, and makes for some striking images. Thank you Kelli and Rusty!

It’s yet another beautiful day out here in lovely San Diego, although it is certainly cooling off!
Jen, Quinn and I just got back from a visit to Maryland, where we both grew up. We fully expected to see the trees bare and cold looking, but to our surprise, they were still changing colors! It was beautiful! The trees were just past the peak of the color and were exploding with different shades of red, orange, and yellow. To add to the experience, we had a few rainy days that produced some nice fog in the mornings. This made for some nice dramatic images. With the leaves being so wet, it seemed to saturate the colors even more than they normally would be already. Below are a few images of the landscapes near our hometowns. It is nice to get back there every now and again, but I think we had gotten our fill of the cold, wet days, and are glad to be back on the west coast.
