Welcome to the World Kai!

Wednesday, 19. September 2007 4:44

Jen and I are not the only ones to have a new little guy in our lives. I guess a little love was in the air in San Diego about 9 months ago. Our good friends Jason and Kelly gave birth to their son Kai Aiden Lewis on 14 September 2007. We were able to visit them the day after he was born and J asked me to get a few photos for him and his family. He is a beautiful baby, and it will be neat to watch our kids grow up together.

Welcoming Quinn Alexandre Eilers to the World!

Tuesday, 18. September 2007 4:44

What a whirl wind the last two weeks has been! My wife, Jen, and I welcomed our son Quinn Alexandre Eilers into the world on Tuesday 4 September 2007 at 8:06 pm. He was 8 lb. 6oz. and 21.25 in. long. There aren’t enough words to describe how awesome it feels to have this little guy in our lives. It is truly an amazing experience to witness, and the most important part is that everything went smoothly. Both Jen and Quinn are happy, healthy and safe!
Everyone always says to cherish these moments when he is young and take lots of pictures (the photo part is not a problem for me), because they grow up so fast. I guess I could never really relate before, but now that I can, they are right. We have only had him in our lives for two weeks, and we are noticing changes already.

Just a Reception…

Saturday, 1. September 2007 4:44

Last weekend I shot a last minute wedding reception for a couple here in San Diego. They had their ceremony back in December, but the reception for the friends and family in town was put together last minute in their backyard, and I happened to be available for the evening. Below are a few images from the evening. Everybody was extremely welcoming and thankful, I had a great time, and the food was fantastic! I learned that Persian culture involves a lot of food in social gatherings, and I mean A LOT. Everyone encouraged me to try everything, with a complete explanation of what the dish was, how it was made, and what I should have it with. It was awesome!
